Mykal’s path did not begin with a polished sales pitch. It began by selling, operating, troubleshooting, and eventually repairing freeze dryers.
Mykal entered the freeze-drying industry through his first business, Sun Blessed Farms LLC. The company sold a competing brand of freeze dryer and gave him direct exposure to the needs of home users, small farms, and food businesses investing in preservation equipment.
That experience also exposed recurring reliability and engineering concerns that could not be dismissed as a few isolated machines. Customers needed equipment they could depend on—and clear, knowledgeable support when an issue arose.
Sun Blessed Farms LLC was closed at the end of 2024 after a short period of operation. Rather than ending Mykal’s work in the industry, the experience created an opportunity to reconsider what customers truly deserve from a freeze-dryer retailer.
Learning to diagnose and repair machines allowed Mykal to understand freeze drying beyond basic operation. That hands-on work developed a deeper appreciation for vacuum systems, refrigeration, heating, sensors, controls, serviceability, and the engineering decisions that determine whether a machine performs reliably.
